OREGON ACCELERATOR
The Oregon Accelerator is a student-led organization working to elevate name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities for University of Oregon Students.
The Client: The Business Law Clinic provides free legal services to Oregon businesses, entrepreneurs, and students. The Clinic is run by University of Oregon Law students and is supervised by a practicing attorney. Services provided include forming entities such as LLCs, reviewing and drafting contracts, filing state trademarks, researching business-related legal issues, and reviewing Name, Image, and Likeness agreements.
The Ask: In the new era of NIL, the Business Law Clinic expanded its services to review NIL contracts and agreements for University of Oregon students. Upon adding this service, the clinic was not generating the traffic it hoped. The Business Law Clinic sought the Oregon Accelerator to help promote its services, raise awareness and increase business.
My Role: As a Communications Specialist, I worked to develop strategy and implement promotional tactics. My team created an informational video promoting the Business Law Clinic’s NIL services. For this video, I was responsible for scriptwriting and social media promotion.
